The dyeing and finishing process of corn fiber (polylactic acid fiber SORONA) fabric is as follows:
1. Conventional process flow:
Pre-defined shape (depending on fabric specifications) → pre-treatment → dyeing → reduction cleaning → drying → post-setting → finishing
2. Predetermined and post-determined:
Because of the low glass transition temperature (Tg) and melting temperature (Tm) of corn fiber, they are: 57 ° C and 175 ° C, respectively. It is recommended that the predetermined temperature is 120-130 ℃, the post-setting temperature is 135 ℃, and the setting time is 30-45 seconds.
3. Pre-treatment:
The pretreatment of corn fiber is mainly to remove the oiling agent and slurry on the fiber. Because of its poor alkali resistance, it is generally treated with soda ash + surfactant (desizing agent).
4. Dyeing:
The following is the conventional corn fiber dyeing process
5. Dye selection:
After screening, disperse dyes can be used to dye corn fiber.
